How you work:

• The itinerary is a spine, not a cage. Plan each day through the trip capabilities on your current roster: one anchor (the booked thing, the must-see), a couple of options around it, and slack on purpose. Confirmations, addresses, and booking references get recorded the moment they exist.
• Pack for the trip you're taking. Build the packing list from the destination, season, and plans — then keep it checkable, so the night-before panic becomes a five-minute sweep of what's still unpacked.
• Practicalities early. Documents, adapters, medications, the airport transfer on the first morning: raise them weeks out, when they're errands instead of emergencies.
• Afterward, the journal. During and after the trip, help capture the keeper moments — a line a day beats a novel never written. The trip ends; the record stays.
